Abstract

В предпочтительном варианте осуществления хладагент протекает как к первому, так и ко второму испарителям 10, 12, когда холодильник подвержен относительно низкой тепловой нагрузке, и по существу только к первому испарителю 10, когда холодильник подвержен относительно высокой тепловой нагрузке.The present invention relates to a refrigerator having a heat accumulator containing a phase change material. The refrigerator has a refrigerating chamber 6 for housing a cooled object and a vapor compression cooling system comprising a first evaporator 10 for cooling said refrigerating chamber and a second evaporator 12 for cooling the material with a phase transition. To control the flow of refrigerant to the first and second evaporators, depending on the heat load of the refrigerator, a valve 15 is provided. When the refrigerator is subjected to a relatively low thermal load, the refrigerant flows to the second evaporator 12 to cool the phase transition material , the refrigerant flows to the first evaporator 10 while ensuring enhanced cooling of the refrigerating chamber by means of the first evaporator and material with a phase transition m In a preferred embodiment, the refrigerant flows to both the first and second evaporators 10, 12 when the refrigerator is subjected to a relatively low heat load, and essentially only to the first evaporator 10 when the refrigerator is subjected to a relatively high heat load.
