Изобретение относится к биотехнологии, а именно к производству физиологически активных соединений, и касается штамма-продуцента бактериородопсина. Штамм Halobacterium salinarum ST 3 получен путем многоступенчатой селекции штамма галофильных бактерий Halobacterium salinarum ВКПМ В-10425 без предварительной обработки химическими реагентами и депонирован в ВКПМ под номером В-11850. Штамм Halobacterium salinarum ВКПМ В-11850 превосходит по продуктивности (биомассы и бактериородопсина) ВКПМ В-10425.The obtained bacterial strain Halobacterium salinarum VKPM B-11850 is a bacteriorhodopsin producer, superior in productivity (biomass and bacteriorhodopsin) VKPM B-10425.
