Система содержит локомотивные радиостанции маневровых локомотивов и носимые радиостанции составителей поездов, соединенные посредством радиоканалов с установленной на станции базовой станцией, входом/выходом подключенной к аппаратно-программному устройству АРМ ДСП, размещенные на станции стационарную дифференциальную станцию спутниковой навигации и блок определения расстояния между локомотивом и составителем. Базовая станция, приемопередатчики локомотивной радиостанции и носимой радиостанции выполнены с возможностью приема и передачи данных по стандарту DMR. Локомотивная радиостанция дополнительно содержит последовательно-соединенные блок ввода/вывода таймслотов и дешифратор, выход которого подключен к дополнительному входу пульта машиниста, вход/выход которого подключен к первому выходу/входу блока ввода/вывода таймслотов, второй вход/выход которого соединен с выходом/входом приемопередатчика локомотивной радиостанции, а второй вход - с выходом приемника навигационных сигналов.
