Abstract

Данное изобретение относится к способу и устройству для удаления сульфата и растворимых металлов, например кальция, из воды. Данное изобретение также относится к способу управления этим процессом. Способ включает следующие стадии: а) осаждение первой части сульфата из воды путем приведения воды в контакт с первым соединением кальция и регулирования рН воды до значения 10,5 или выше, чтобы получить первый шлам, содержащий гипс и гидроксиды металлов, b) проведение электрокоагуляции первого шлама, содержащего гипс, для осаждения второй части сульфата в виде эттрингита и для осаждения гидроксосульфатов кальция-алюминия/железа, с) проведение разделения шлама, полученного на стадиях (а) и (b), на твердое вещество и жидкость для отделения осажденных твердых веществ от воды, d) нейтрализация воды, полученной со стадии (с), для обеспечения воды с пониженным содержанием сульфата и растворимого металла, например кальция.
