Данный способ получения электроэнергии относится к производству электроэнергии, использующий любую тепловую энергию. Данный способ получения энергии является абсолютно универсальным. Как известно, все двигатели внутреннего сгорания выделяют большое количество тепловой энергии, которое попросту даром уходит в окружающую среду, тем самым создавая парниковый эффект. Если использовать предложенный способ получения энергии совместно с двигателями внутреннего сгорания, получатся гибридные двигатели, которые можно будет использовать во всех видах транспорта: в морском, железнодорожном, автомобильном и даже авиационном.
