В устройстве для взрывного обжатия материалов, содержащем цилиндрический заряд ВВ, в центре которого аксиально размещен блок обжимаемого материала, с наружной боковой поверхности с зазором установлен металлический лайнер, снабженный листовым метательным зарядом и торцевой детонационной разводкой, введена вторая аналогичная торцевая детонационная разводка, а металлический лайнер выполнен с возможностью обеспечения фазовой скорости возбуждения детонации вдоль боковой поверхности цилиндрического заряда ВВ U=(1,3-1,6)D, где D - скорость детонации заряда.
