Abstract
The utility model relates to devices for generating electricity from radioactive isotopes and relates to the field of electric power engineering. The technical task of the proposed utility model is to create a small-sized, mobile unit with a higher efficiency. The proposed isotopic-turbine generator of electricity contains an isotopic-heating unit, which consists of a core with a radioactive element. The isotopic heating unit is protected by a biological protection system. The active zone is divided into work and non work zones. The generator contains a mechanism for regulating the input of an isotope into the work zone. A combined tungsten heater is installed in the working area. ITGE contains a water channel system with hot and cold water outlets, a turbine with a generator is located on the hot water outlet, a pump is installed on the cold water outlet, a heat exchanger is located between the pump and the turbine. The utility model has a number of advantages over traditional nuclear power plants, operating due to the fission energy of atomic nuclei (uranium, plutonium, thorium). For the work of the proposed model does not need to build large buildings. Installation is small, mobile options are possible. In the proposed device can not be an atomic explosion. The design of the model is very simple, and it can be built without large capital investments in a short time.
