The method contains the oxidation of cyclohexane in the liquid phase, and this oxidation is catalyzed by compounds of cobalt and chromium, while the atomic ratio of cobalt to chromium is in the range of 0.05-0.8, the sum of the concentrations of cobalt and chromium is 0.05-0.9 wt. hours / million of the total mass of the reaction mixture, and compounds of cobalt and chromium dissolved in the liquid phase.
