The proposed glass/glass fiber has a softening point >920°C, light transmission 80-92% and has the following composition, wt.%: 58-62 SiO, 11.0-15.5 AlO, 20-25 CaO, 0.1-0 .8 MgO, 0.04-1.2 NaO, 0.1-1.2 KO, 0.2-1.8 TiO, 0.05-0.5 FeO and 0.002-0.085 CrO.
