Abstract
Низкоэнергетическая система и способ обессоливания морской воды, в которых система имеет по меньшей мере одно электродиализное устройство, которое производит частично обессоленную воду и рассол в качестве побочного продукта, ионообменный умягчитель и по меньшей мере одно электродеионизационное устройство. Умягчитель обрабатывает поток частично умягченной воды для удаления или снижения количества образующего накипь материала, чтобы сохранять производительность деионизационного устройства и снижать энергопотребление. Умягчитель имеет способность удалять большее количество ионов кальция по сравнению с ионами магния до соотношения между ними, большего, чем в частично обессоленном потоке, тем самым уменьшая размер умягчителя и энергопотребление. Деионизационное устройство производит водный продукт с желательными свойствами. Поток рассола может быть использован для регенерации умягчителя.
