Abstract
A multiengine harvester (10) can be operated in a first and a second mode. In the first mode, the harvester (10) is operated using a first engine (20) and a second engine (22) to drive the plurality of power absorbing loads (28, 30). In the second mode, the harvester (10) is operated with the second engine (22) being uncoupled from all of the power absorbing loads (28, 30). The first engine (20) is incapable of driving all of the power absorbing loads (28, 30).
