Abstract

В данном изобретении описываются системы и способы синтеза спиртов. Способы и системы включают новое использование устройства высокой скорости сдвига для образования дисперсии и улучшения растворимости олефинов в воде. Устройство высокой скорости сдвига позволяет понижать температуру и давление в реакциях, а также сокращать время реакции. В варианте осуществления способ получения спиртов включает введение олефина в поток воды для образования газожидкостного потока. Способ, дополнительно включает прохождение газожидкостного потока через устройство высокой скорости сдвига с образованием дисперсии с пузырьками газа, средний диаметр которых составляет менее 1 мкм. Дополнительно способ включает контактирование газожидкостного потока с катализатором в реакторе, приводящее к гидратации газообразного олефина и образованию спирта.
