Abstract
Настоящее изобретение является параболоцилиндрическим солнечным коллектором, использующим недорогие алюминированные пластмассовые пленки в качестве отражающей поверхности. Пленки удерживаются в надлежащей форме посредством натягивания их между жесткими ребрами, которые пространственно разнесены вдоль длины коллектора. Конструкция параболоцилиндра поддерживается жесткой с помощью уникальной системы слежения за солнцем, которая не только направляет весь ряд параболоцилиндров на поле на солнце, но также поддерживает всю длину каждого параболоцилиндра в жесткой конфигурации. Тросы малого диаметра накручиваются на вращающиеся трубы, проходящие вдоль восточной и западной боковых сторон поля.
