Abstract

Данное изобретение относится к новой композиции и новому способу биоремедиации in situ воды, загрязненной углеводородами, в частности нефтепродуктами. Для удаления, например, пятна нефтепродуктов, которое плавает на поверхности водоема, новую композицию диспергируют в порошкообразной форме по указанному пятну нефтепродуктов. Композиция изобретения самопроизвольно связывается с нефтепродуктами, погружается с ними под воду и, в конечном счете, оседает в качестве мелкодисперсного осадка на дно. В течение нескольких часов токсичные углеводороды устраняют из воды таким способом, что в случае пресной воды качество питьевой воды может быть восстановлено. Микробиологическое разрушение происходит in situ. Композиция содержит карбид кремния и/или диоксид кремния в порошкообразной форме и предпочтительно добавки, включая гранитную пыль, пыль кремния и извести и кальций. Указанная новая композиция позволяет простую, рентабельную биоремедиацию загрязнения нефтепродуктами поверхности водоемов. Загрязнение нефтепродуктами теперь можно регулировать с целью защиты людей и окружающей среды даже в слаборазвитых странах и развивающихся странах, чем ранее пренебрегали по финансовым причинам.
