Группа изобретений относится к способам извлечения никеля и кобальта из окисленных никелевых и кобальтовых руд и позволяет повысить степень извлечения никеля. Способ переработки окисленной никелькобальтовой руды по первому варианту включает обработку руды серной кислотой с переводом в раствор растворимых сульфатов, причем руду гранулируют с серной кислотой, гранулы сульфатизируют при температуре 250-450°С в течение 1-2 ч в один или два этапа, после чего проводят выщелачивание сульфатов никеля и других металлов водой, а затем извлекают металлы из раствора известными методами. В способе переработки указанной руды по второму варианту руду гранулируют с серной кислотой в стехиометрически необходимом количестве, гранулы прокаливают при температуре 650-700°С в течение 2,5-3,0 ч, после чего проводят выщелачивание водой. В способе переработки указанной руды по третьему варианту руду гранулируют с серной кислотой, гранулы прокаливают в атмосфере газов, полученных при окислении элементарной серы или сульфидов кислородом воздуха, затем газы совместно с выделяющимися при прокалке гранул оксидами серы направляют на производство серной кислоты, а гранулы - на выщелачивание водой.The group of inventions relates to methods for extracting nickel and cobalt from oxidized nickel and cobalt ores and allows increasing the degree of nickel extraction. The method of processing the oxidized nickel-cobalt ore in the first embodiment involves treating the ore with sulfuric acid and converting soluble sulphates into a solution, the ore being granulated with sulfuric acid, the granules are sulphatised at a temperature of 250-450 ° C for 1-2 hours in one or two stages, after which leaching of nickel and other metals sulphates with water is carried out, and then metals are removed from the solution by known methods. In the method of processing said ore according to the second variant, the ore is granulated with sulfuric acid in the stoichiometrically necessary amount, the granules are calcined at a temperature of 650-700 ° C for 2.5-3.0 hours, after which the leaching is performed with water. In the method of processing said ore in the third variant, the ore is granulated with sulfuric acid, the granules are calcined in the atmosphere of gases obtained by oxidation of elemental sulfur or sulfides with oxygen of the air, then the gases, together with sulfur oxides released during calcination of the granules, are sent to sulfuric acid leaching with water.
