Для достижения указанного технического результата в сети сотовой связи, где запись информации, проходящей по каналам связи, осуществляют при помощи мобильного терминала, а записанную информацию хранят в памяти мобильного терминала и/или дополнительном носителе информации, присоединенном к мобильному терминалу при помощи кабеля или посредством радиоинтерфейса, предлагается новый способ записи и хранения SMS- и/или MMS-сообщений, отличительным признаком которого является то, что запись SMS и/или MMS-сообщений осуществляют на внешний носитель информации, подключенный к коммутатору или коммутаторам SMS- и/или MMS-сообщений, причем запись и хранение информации происходит только по желанию и по заказу самого абонента сети мобильной связи.
