Abstract

A concealed pivot hinge for rotational movement of a door (D) comprises an immovable element (10) and a movable element (20) fastened thereto for rotation about an axis (X). The central part (22) of the connecting element (21) of the element (20) is connected to the door and is disposed in a plane (π) parallel to the axis (X). End parts (23, 23') of the element (21) face end sockets (12, 12'), are connected to them and are disposed in parallel planes (π', π") that are perpendicular to the plane (π). The distance between surfaces (27, 27') of the parts (23, 23') and the body (11) of the pivot hinge of the element (10) does not change when the surfaces (27, 27') become engaged with antifriction elements (15, 15') of the sockets (12, 12'). A cylindrical bar (24) is inserted, with a clearance, in a hole (13) and has ends (25, 25') connected to the parts (23, 23') for rotation with the element (21); the bar (24) has height (h) exceeding distance (d) between upper surfaces of the elements (15, 15') so that during engagement of one of the surfaces (27) with one of the elements (15, 15'), the other surface (27, 27') remains spaced from the other element (15, 15'). The element (20) includes a mounting bracket (30) with a part (31) for connection to the door, and a part (33) for connection to the part (22).
