Abstract

The invention relates to methods and systems for tracing and detecting articles, in particular, to private lost goods by using mobile and stationary communication. People always loose private goods, it often happens in public facilities with many people around when the attention is not concentrated. The main problem in retrieval of a lost good is impossibility to identify the owner of the lost good found by a finder. The present invention is aimed at collection and registration data concerning goods which can be lost and their owners, ability to identify owners goods by said goods and ability to establish contact between the finder and the owner for its retrieval. The inventive method is characterized in that an identification mark comprising a unique user attribute data set and request to inform the user about the found goods is attached at said phone number, an award promise, and in case of the goods discovery the received information is recorded from a label in the provider's database according to the user's request, the information about the found goods is processed and the communication is established between the finder and the owner. There are some other differences from a prototype.

The task for the method is solved by fixing an identification tag containing a unique set of signs and a request to inform when finding a thing on a specified phone number, a promise of reward, and when finding a thing, register the received information from a label in the database of the service provider, process the information at the user's request about the found thing, establish a connection between the finder of the thing and the owner of the thing. When finding a thing by another person and establishing a connection with the alleged owner, such a badge allows you to immediately establish the name of the owner and simply identify the owner by comparing the name that he names and what is indicated on the badge.

The disadvantages of the method include the low efficiency of the search for the owner, if only the name is indicated on the tag. If the telephone number and name are additionally indicated, then this information can be seen by many people, and this deprives the owner of the confidentiality, which can lead to unpleasant situations (blackmail, extortion, threats), especially if there were compromising objects, documents in the suitcase, etc. . In addition, if a person finds a lost thing, then sometimes because of the reluctance to waste time, he does not make any efforts to find. Moreover, the details indicated on the badge may change with real contact details. The disadvantage of the known system aimed at the unlawful loss of a thing, such as theft or theft, is the high cost, which allows it to be used in limited cases (search for an expensive thing when it is stolen). They use the help of law enforcement agencies.

Also known is a method and system for determining the location of lost people or animals [2]. In the known method, a network of stations is disclosed that receives encoded signals from portable radio transmitters that are attached to a person or animal, or are implanted in the body. Each of the radio transmitters has a unique identification number, which is transmitted as part of the signal. It is possible to estimate the location of any transmitter by calculating the distance and direction of the transmitters from two or more receiving stations based on the strength of the signal received by the stations. Since each transmitter has a unique identification number, you can track the location of, for example, a kidnapped child by receiving a signal containing a specific identification number.

The disadvantages of this method is the complexity and high cost of using this method, therefore, its scope is limited.

Closest to the claimed method and system are a system for searching for lost things based on a mobile phone and the method of its operation [3]. The system for searching for lost things includes a mobile phone, a set of labels that need to be fixed on objects, each label containing means for attaching to an object, means for receiving and decoding radio signals, means for comparing decoded information received from a mobile phone and stored on the label, and means for generating an audio or light signal, allowing the user to detect the shortcut, and with it the lost thing. The system implements the method as follows. In the event of the loss of a thing equipped with a label, the owner dials a service code using a mobile phone and dials the number of the label. The device of the shortcut, having received and processed the signal of the mobile phone, determines that the code transmitted from the mobile phone is identical to the code placed on the shortcut. The shortcut starts blinking (glowing) or beeping, realizing the function of a pager.

The disadvantages of the known solution is the inability to establish a connection between the lost thing and its owner with a sufficient distance from the owner of the lost thing. A person simply will not see or hear her. When discovering a thing by another person, it is also unclear how to find the true owner. The third drawback is the mandatory presence of power in the device label, such as batteries. Another disadvantage is the inability to receive a mobile phone signal in jammed places where the mobile signal is insufficient. For example, a person has lost a thing in a cellar. At this point, the signal of the mobile operator does not pass, and if it does, the person does not hear or see the pager signals of the wanted item.

The task for the system is also solved by the fact that the system additionally includes a means of recording a conversation between a person who has lost a thing and a person who has found a thing.

The system consists of the following elements. The technical solution includes a control system 1, which can be represented by a ca11 center, dispatcher, provider, website, etc. The control system 1 controls the operation of the database 2, which contains information about all registered things and about the owners of these things. The method is implemented as follows.

All incoming information, both about the identification codes of things registered, and information about lost things, through the methods described above, is accumulated in the things database by setting the sign of the lost thing.

The phone number of the owner and his personal data were not disclosed. To communicate with the owner, 8M8, MM8, e-tai, an operator’s call, call forwarding, etc. are used. Initial communication with the owner of the lost item is possible only through the control system of 1 provider that provides this service. This will eliminate a significant amount of spam and calls scammers. The request of the person who found the thing is processed no more than one minute. Thanks to the claimed method, a single database, anyone who finds any item (s) will be able to contact the person who lost the item. A telephone conversation between the finder of the thing and the owner of the thing can be recorded, while both participants in the conversation are warned about this in advance. This circumstance will significantly reduce the number of abuses both on the part of the person who has lost or who has found the thing.

Consider the operation of the method according to the invention in the following examples.

A telephone conversation between a consumer and a traveler can be recorded, having previously warned both parties about the ongoing recording. Both parties, having agreed, can meet and exchange things and remuneration. If on the part of one of the parties a certain misunderstanding has occurred, the injured party may fix it with the service provider. In this case, the conversation is saved and subsequently this record can be used in litigation.

The advantages of the proposed method and system are the ability to quickly identify the owner of the thing by the thing itself, the possibility of establishing contact of the finder of the thing with the owner of the thing to return it.

Since most things are lost in travel, travel, and transportation, where the police or the police search for items left behind for security reasons, such identification tags (tags) will help ensure security. The policeman can immediately call the operator and check whether the item found is really classified as lost.
