Abstract
The invention relates to a method for producing catalysts for the oxidative removal of oil and oil distillates, in particular from furnace fuel oil, and can be used in the oil production industry. The proposed homogeneous catalyst for the oxidative demercaptanization of oil and oil distillates is based on chlorides, acetates or naphthenates of cobalt, nickel or copper or copper oxychloride and nitrogen-containing ligands, i.e. aliphatic amines, with the molar ratio of the above transition metal compound to the nitrogen-containing ligand ranging from 1:1 to 1:4. The method for producing the catalyst involves preparing a water-monoethanolamine mixture at a ratio of 20:80 vol.%, diluting calculated quantities of a transition metal derivative and an aliphatic amine in said mixture, then holding the thus produced homogeneous catalyst at a temperature of 80-95°C for 0.5-1.0 hour and simultaneously blowing air through the catalyst solution. The catalyst makes it possible to produce high-purity oil and oil distillates owing to the complete oxidation of sulphur-containing compounds while improving the technical and economic parameters of the process.
