Abstract

The present invention relates to the improvements in the locking system providing the sides of the foldable crates to be locked to each other characterized by:- the male part (4) which is located on one of the sides (2 and 3) of the crate (1) and consisting of the base (6), side (7), hollow (recess ) (10), joining point of the side and base (11) and point of pressing for unlocking (12),- the female part (5) which is located on the other side (2 and 3) of the crate (1) and consisting of side (8) and protrusion (9),- centering protrusions (15) located above or below or both above and below the male part (4),- centering recesses (14) located above or below or both above and below the female part (5).

Description

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

This invention relates to a fastening system that secures the edges of folding boxes to each other.

State of the art

The fasteners related to this invention, known in the prior art, made to fix the edges of folding drawers, work by the hard penetration method and open with a hard blow to the edge. When carrying or stacking in case of a blow to the box, the constipation may open and the material in the box may crumble. In these types of fasteners with rigid parts that allow penetration, these parts wear out over time and cannot perform fastening functions. As a result, the box cannot be used for the purpose for which it is intended.

With regard to the fastening systems for folding boxes developed in this invention, a search was made in the UK Patent Office, search number 8A8 / P201391, and another search was further conducted in the Austrian Patent Office to check patentability, and the following documents were installed: I8 6722516 B1 , I8 2003/0116564 A1, I8 6073790, I8 6435349 A1, ΌΕ 2546636 A1 and ΌΕ 19511655 A1.

Document I8 6722516 B1 discloses a folding box in which at least two sides are folded. With the drawer described in this document, the folding sides are fixed on other sides. This document proposes an L-shaped element. There is no centering feature in this system.

Document I8 2003/0116564 A1 discloses a folding box. At the box proposed in this document, the folding sides of the box are stapled with other sides. There is no centering feature in this system.

I8 6073790 proposes a folding box in which the sides are folded inward. The sides folded inwards are secured by locking elements that extend into parts of other sides. The locking system disclosed in this document does not contain elements for centering.

I8 6435349 A1 discloses a reusable folding box made of cardboard. For the boxes discussed in this document, male and female fastening elements are provided. The fastening system proposed in this document does not contain centering elements.

The document ΌΕ 2546636 A1 discloses a hinge system that can be fixed. The fastening system disclosed in this document does not contain centering elements.

In document No. 19511655 A1, an electrical connecting element is disclosed, which may be closed by a metal element. The fastening system disclosed in this document does not contain centering elements.

The purpose of this invention

In developing this invention, the following objectives were pursued:

to provide a simple fastening, to provide a fastening that after closing could not open under load or when carrying, provide easy opening by hand when required.

In order to better describe the fastening system for folding boxes in accordance with this invention, the parts (elements) of its constituent components are labeled with separate numerical positions. The names corresponding to these positions, which are shown in the figures, are as follows:

Description of the invention

The main components (elements) of the folding box fastening system according to the invention include male parts, preferably about two sides (2 or 3) of one of the folding edges (4), female parts on the other edge (5) opposite the male parts (4), centering protrusions (15) located on one of the folding edges (2 or 3), mainly on both sides of the parts to be covered, centering indents (14) located on the other edge opposite to the centering protrusions.

The centering indents (14) may be in the form of a square, rectangular prism, cylinder or hemisphere. The centering indents (14) can be located either on the short edge (3) or on the long edge (2).

The centering protrusions (15) may be in the form of a square, a rectangular prism, a cylinder or a hemisphere in order to correspond to the centering indents (14). The centering protrusions (15) can be located either on the long edge (3) or on the short edge (2).

The centering protrusions (15) may be located on both sides of the male parts (4) or female parts (5).

One of the centering protrusions (15) may be located on one side of the male part (4), and the other protrusion may be located on the other side of the female part (5). The centering indents (14) are located opposite the centering protrusions (15).

The main function of the indentation (14) and centering protrusions (15) consists in the direction of the male (4) and female parts (5) towards each other during fastening or opening. Thus, the process of folding and unfolding the box is facilitated.

Another function of the paddings (14) and centering protrusions (15) is to take the load and prevent the bond from being attached when the edges are loaded during transfer or storage.

The male part (4) of the folding box fastening system according to the invention consists of a base (6), an edge (7), a space (indent) (10), a joint (11) of an edge and a side, and a pressure part for opening the system.

The base (6) and the edge (7) of the male part (4) are combined using joints 11 of the edge and side.

On both edges (7) of the male part (4) there is a space (indent) (10), which ensures fastening after the protrusion (9) of the female part (5) is fastened into it.

In front of the male part (4) (facing the female part) there is a pressing part (12) for opening the fastener. After pressing the pressure part (12) with a finger, the lateral edges (7) of the male part (4) extend and move into the space (indent) (10). In this case, the edge (9) of the covering part (5) is freed from the space (10) and, accordingly, the bond is opened.

The female part (5) of the folding box fastening system of the present invention includes an edge (8) of the female part and a protrusion (9) of the female part.

The edge (8) and the protrusion (9) of the female part (5) provide fastening at the entrance to the space (10) of the edge (7) of the male part (4).

The protrusions (15) and centering indents (14), which help fasten, provide ease of connection, prevent the edges of the drawer from stretching under load during transportation or storage, taking the load and thus preventing spontaneous opening of the fastener. These paddings (14) and protrusions (15) protect the fastening elements from wear and extend

Advantageous Use of the Invention

The male parts (4) of the folding box fastening system according to the invention are located on two sides of the long edge (2) of the box (1), preferably closer to the upper part. The female parts (5) are on the short side (3) of the box (1) exactly opposite the male parts.

The centering tabs (15) are located above and below the male parts (4). The centering indents (14) are located on the short side (3) of the box (1) exactly opposite the protrusions (15).

Various applications of the invention

The fastening system for folding drawers in accordance with this invention can be used in folding drawers (1) with different shape ratios, where the male parts (4) are located on both sides of the short edge (3) of the drawer (1); the female parts (5) are on the other edge, which is the long edge (2);

the centering protrusions (15) are below and above the female parts (5);

one of the centering protrusions (15) is under the male part (4), the other is above the female part (5);

one of the centering protrusions (15) is above the male part (4), the other is under the female part (5).

The boxes on which the fastening system for folding boxes created in accordance with this invention is mounted are mainly made of polymer or of a material based on a mixture of polymer with plastic and can be of any size.

When performing the fastening system for folding drawers created in accordance with this invention, the fastening can be carried out by introducing the protrusion (16) of the male part into the indent (17) of the female part. Such use is within the scope of this invention.

CLAIM 1. Fastening system for a collapsible box (1), containing side elements (2, 3), characterized in that it has a male part (4), containing a male base (6), at least one male part of the edge (7), at least one male part of the indent (10), at least one male part of the edge and base joint (11) and male covered pressure part (12) for opening the system, located on the first side element (2, 3) of the box (1), covering the part (5) containing the covering part of the edge (8) and the covering part of the protrusion (9), placed on the second side element (3, 2) of the box (1), centering projections (15) located on at least one side of the male part (4), centering spaces (14) located on at least one side of the female part ( 5), and the fact that the covered pressure part (12) is designed so that when it is pressed, at least one covered part of the edge (7) stretches and shifts at least one covered part of the indent (10) inward, such such that the female part of the protrusion (9) is released from the the second part of the indentation 10 and, respectively, the fastening system is opened. 2. Fastening system for a collapsible box (1) according to claim 1, characterized in that the indents (14) of the centering have the shape of a square or rectangular prism. 3. Fastening system for a collapsible box (1) according to claim 1, characterized in that the indents (14) of the centering are in the form of a cylinder or hemisphere. 4. Fastening system for a collapsible box (1) according to any one of the preceding paragraphs, characterized in that the indents (14) of centering are located on the first side element (3) and / or on the second side element (2) and in that the first side element (3) and the second side element (2) have the same or different length. 5. Fastening system for a collapsible box (1) according to any one of the preceding paragraphs, characterized in that the protrusions (15) of the centering are mounted in the indents (14) of the centering. 6. Fastening system for a collapsible box (1) according to any one of the preceding paragraphs, characterized in that the pressing part (12) is located in front of the covered part (4). 13. Fastening system for a collapsible box according to any one of the preceding paragraphs, characterized in that at least part of the box (1) is made of polymer or of a material based on a mixture of polymer and plastic. 14. Fastening system for a collapsible box (1) according to any of the preceding paragraphs, characterized in that the projections (16) of the covered part (4) on two edges (7) are embedded in the indents (17) of the covering part (5) and at the same time are fixed . 15.
