Abstract

La presente invención consiste en un soporte lateral de carretilla conformado por un perfil que corre continuo a lo largo de una primera extensión de sujeción, un primer brazo, una zona de apoyo horizontal, un segundo brazo y una segunda extensión de sujeción que en su conjunto otorgan al soporte lateral forma substancialmente de U. Además, el soporte está caracterizado poque la sección de corte transversal del perfil está conformada por un plano horizontal, una porción lateral izquierda que continua hasta formar una primera porción de doblez, y una porción lateral derecha que continua hasta formar una segunda porción de doblez, en donde ambas porciones de doblez están dobladas hacia el interior. De esta manera, el soporte lateral de carretilla permite lograr una mayor resistencia estructural para la transmisión de los esfuerzos de compresión de la carga de la carretilla con el suelo, así como mayor resistencia a la falla por fatiga debida a los continuos impactos de carga y descarga durante el movimiento y descanso de una carretilla. Lo anterior sin necesidad de añadir material ni peso al ensamble total de la carretilla.
