Den kan f.eks- bruges til folk med fodskader efter trafikuheld eller sportsskader. Den kunne også benyttes som en prisbillig midlertidig protese i de lande hvor der er mange ofre for landminer,hvor det ofte "kun11 er foden som bliver sprængt væk..It can be used, for example, for people with foot injuries following a traffic accident or sports injury. Jeg er bekendt med at Bandagisterne benytter et produkt som minder om mit,men som er ganske anderledes i bla. virkemåde. Bandagisternes mere simple model har blot en smal skinne som går under hælen ( se Fig. 7 ),og dertil en plast støtteplade som holder foden ( hvis der er en ) oppe. Styrken i samtlige matrialer skal være meget stærkere udført, end i bandagisternes model,idet det nu ikke blot er en skinne til let støtte/aflastning. Ben skinnen er ny idet man kan gå direkte,og uden hjalp fra krykstokke,med denne skinne, ( jeg vejer selv 95 Kgtog jeg har båret mange cementsskke iÅrk på denne skinne - jeg har danset & og Jeg her endog skubbet en bil igang ). Men det skal vare en kombination af styrke og en så lav egenvagt som muligt,og dette vil givetvis have indflydelse på matrialevalg på den færdige model. Det som nu er udført i aluminium ( se tegninger ) kan udmerket udføres i en titanlum legering eller f.eks. i tyndvægget kandtvalset rustfri stål. Og det som nu er udført i plast kan udemærket udføres 1 fceks. glasfibre eller kulfibre.The strength of all the materials must be much stronger than in the bandagist model, since it is not simply a rail for easy support / relief.
