Abstract

A toothbrush has a brush head 1 comprising a plate 2 with bristle bundles 3 affixed in one side of this, together with a possibly angled handle 5 connected to one end 4 of the plate. The brush head 1 is appropriately articulated to the handle 5 in such a way that the brush head 1 and the angular position of the handle 2 can be adjusted in relation to one another. The handle 5 has at least two handle parts 7, 14, which are connected to one another either by means of a flexible intermediate layer 12 or by means of crosspieces 8. <IMAGE>
