Abstract

In a machine for injecting brine into pieces of meat, which are brought up on a conveyor 13, above which a needle bridge 21 with injection needles 24 is suspended such that it can swivel about an axle perpendicular to the conveyor path and also move up and down by means of a crank 16, the mounting is such that the needle bridge can be replaced, and the effective length of the crank arm 15 can be adjusted to change the stroke length of the needle bridge, so that meat products of a different kind can be processed on the same machine, for example, with or without bone, and of different size.
