Abstract

In a process for modifying the conditions of interaction between the target cells of a living host and a pathogenic agent to the host, said cells are placed in contact with anti-NP antibodies or with NP molecules chemically modified by means of a covalent bond at the C1 position of the phenyl ring or its phenol position, by a chemical group which neutralizes the in vivo toxic properties of NP without, however, affecting its capacity to be recognized by anti-NP antibodies, in particular by dosing the anti-NP antibodies or detoxified NPs in function of the desired degree of modulation of said interaction.
