Description

The invention relates to a mounting part for the fastening of visible profiles, with a base plate having at least one fastening opening for fastening means to install the mounting part, and having two retaining bars which protrude from the base plate, are disposed next to one another and are formed to be engageable in a counteracting manner in a recess on the respective visible profile.
Mounting parts for fastening visible profiles to a substructure are known from the prior art (DE102007009477B3). Such mounting parts have a base plate with two retaining bars for a visible profile each and a fastening opening for fastening means for mounting the mounting part to the substructure. The two retaining bars projecting from the base plate are provided to act in opposite directions and side by side to enable the engagement on both sides of the mounting part in a respective recess of a visible profile. However, the retaining bars rigidly connected to the base plate can withstand the loads caused by expansion or shrinkage of the visible profiles only to a limited extent or follow changes in size. Therefore, a release of the connection between the visible profile and mounting part is to be expected. A stable attachment of the visible profiles cannot be guaranteed in this way.
The document US20120770944A1 discloses a mounting part having the features of the preamble of claim 1. The invention is based on the object to provide a mounting part for the fastening of visible profiles, which attaches said profiles in a particularly stable manner. In addition, the mounting part should be structurally simple and easy to handle.
The invention solves this problem in that on the one hand for a fixed mounting of the first visible profile on the mounting part the first retaining bar forms with the base plate a rigid structural section on the mounting part and on the other hand for a movable mounting of the other second visible profile on the mounting part the second retaining bar forms with the base plate an elastic structural section on the mounting part.
If the first retaining bar forms with the base plate a rigid structural section on the mounting part and the second retaining bar with the base plate an elastic structural section on the mounting part, it is possible to create in a structurally simple way a mounting part with a fixed bearing and a movable bearing for holding the visible profiles. With the latter bearing, for example, movements of the second visible profile, more particularly by its thermal expansion or by its shrinkage or swelling, can be compensated securely. Namely, the retaining bar on the elastic structural section can follow the movements of the second visible profile, thereby making it possible to prevent, for example, that the retaining bar detaches from the recess on the visible profile and thus allows individual visible profiles to rest loosely on the mounting part. The mounting part according to the invention can therefore defy variable temperature and weather conditions in a reliable and stable manner. In addition, the fixed bearing on the mounting part for the first visible profile allows laying the visible profiles to be installed in a distance-accurate and user-friendly manner. Therefore, the mounting part according to the invention can therefore not only be characterized by its stability, but also greatly facilitate the assembly of the visible profiles.
The stability of the movable mounting of the second visible profile on the mounting part can be further improved if the second retaining bar is formed engageable under elastic pretension in the recess on the second view profile. This can not only allow simple installation, e.g. increased shrinkage on the second view profile can be followed by the retaining bar, and prevent release of the second visible profile from the mounting part.
If the retaining bars comprise counter-acting jaws that are formed to be engageable with a form fit into the recess in the respective visible profile, then this can facilitate the installation of the visible profiles and improve the ease of handling of the mounting parts. In addition, such jaws can improve the locking of the visible profiles on the mounting part - and subsequently also the stability or the connection of the mounting part with a substrate, etc.
Preferably, the jaws are formed the same in cross-section, so that the mounting part can be aligned freely to the visible profiles or they can be set up. Also, in this way, the requirements in terms of visible profiles or their recesses are simplified for engagement of the retaining bars.
If the jaws have a contact surface which is shaped as a circular arc in its cross-section for the recess on each visible profile, it is not only possible to produce a precise and accurate positioning of the visible profiles on the mounting part, but thus also to form a comparatively large coupling surface - and thus a particularly stable connection - with the visible profiles. For this purpose, the recesses of the visible profiles advantageously have an inverse circular arc shape relative to the jaws. A circular contact surface can also avoid edges and thus an unwanted hooking between mounting part and visible profile.
If the retaining bars terminate at their jaws, a mounting part can be created which is designed to be slender in its height, which can thus be used even in cramped connection conditions between the visible profiles or in the case of comparatively thin visible profiles.
The flexibility of the retaining bar relative to the base plate can be improved and/or ensured if the base plate has a material thinning, which is followed by the second retaining bar. According to the depth or the configuration of this material thinning, the elasticity of the elastic structural section on the mounting part can be adapted in a structurally simple manner. In addition, this thinning of the material makes it possible to shift the bending area into the area of the base plate, which avoids disruptive stops in the movement range of the held visible profile, for example. Production and handling of the mounting part are therefore particularly improved according to the invention.
If the base plate adjoins the first retaining bar in the longitudinal direction on both sides and the second retaining bar on one side, then a greater freedom of bending for the second retaining bar can easily be created. In addition, a modular mounting part can be created, which can serve different functions depending on the installation direction.
If the two retaining bars of the base plate are disposed to extend away from each other, then a mounting part can be provided which rests against a visible profile with a resilient pretension. As a result, the second retaining bar can exert a spring force on the respective visible profile in order to follow its movements and also to securely fix the visible profile.
If the first retaining bar protrudes perpendicularly from the base plate, then a nonmovable fixed point can be created, which can serve as a stop for the visible profiles. As a result, the assembly of the visible profiles can be facilitated.
If the mounting part in front of the first retaining bar comprises a mounting stop projecting from the base plate for the second visible profile, excessive tension and thus possible damage to the second retaining bar can be avoided during assembly. The stability of the mounting part can thus be further increased. In addition, the assembly can thus be facilitated because the elastic pretension of the second retaining bar can be reproducibly set via the mounting stop.
The mounting of the mounting parts is also simplified in that the fastening opening has a progression moving in an obliquely tapering manner towards the second retaining bar in the longitudinal direction of the mounting part. As a result, the second retaining bar is pressed against the visible profile by the advance of the obliquely guided mounting opening during fastening of the mounting part. If the base plate has an, in particular groove-shaped, predetermined breaking point, then the base plate can be divided into two sections, wherein a first section has the two retaining bars and a second section can be used as a spacer and fastening piece. As a result, mounting options for the first and the last visible profile can be created in a structurally simple manner and without having to make specially designed mounting parts for this purpose. A more cost-effective and variably usable mounting part can thus be made available.
Advantageously, the mounting part according to the invention can be used in a terrace system with at least two visible profiles for attaching the visible profiles.
In the figures, for example, the subject matter of the invention is illustrated in more detail with reference to an embodiment variable, wherein:
Fig. 1 shows torn-off cross-sectional view of a terrace system with several visible profiles and a mounting part,
Fig. 2 shows a cross-sectional view of the mounting part of Fig. 1, and
Fig. 3 shows a three-dimensional view of the mounting part of Fig. 2.
According to Fig. 1, a terrace system 100 is shown with a mounting part 1 for fastening two visible profiles 101, 102 to a substructure 103. The mounting part 1 has a base plate 2, from which two retaining bars 3, 4 protrude. In addition, a mounting opening 5 is provided for fastening means 6 in the base plate 2 so as to anchor the mounting part 1 to the substructure 103. As a fastening means 6, a selftapping countersunk screw is shown in Fig. 1. As a fastening means 6, however, any other screw connection, screw, rivet, etc. is conceivable, which has not been shown in detail.
The retaining bars 3, 4 are formed in the transverse direction 24 of the mounting part 1 (see Fig. 3) side by side for attachment of visible profiles 101, 102 acting in opposite directions. In this case, the retaining bars 3, 4 engage in corresponding recesses 7 in the visible sections 101, 102 in order to hold them on the mounting part 1.
The first retaining bar 3 serves to fixedly retain the first visible profile 101 on the mounting part 1. For this purpose, the retaining bar 3 forms with the base plate 2 on the mounting part 1 a rigid structural section 8, as can be seen in detail in Fig. 2. The second retaining bar 4, however, forms with the base plate 2 an elastic structural section 9 on the mounting part 1, so as to movably retain the other second visible profile 102 on the mounting part 1. Thus, shrinkage and swelling of the second visible profile 102 can be absorbed by the mounting part 1, without having to fear damage to the mounting part 1 or a loosening of the attachment of the second visible profile 102 on the mounting part 1.
By continuing this fastening scheme in the transverse direction of the visible profiles 101, 102, i.e. in the longitudinal direction 23 of the mounting parts 1, it is achieved that each visible profile 1 01, 102 is fastened with two respective mounting parts 1, wherein in each case on one side of the visible profile 101, 102, a rigid retaining bar 3 and on the other side of the visible profile 101, 102 a movable retaining bar 4 engages therein.
In Fig. 2 it can be further seen that the retaining bars 3, 4 comprise counter-acting jaws 11, 12 in order to respectively engage in different directions in the visible profiles 101, 102 and to connect them to the mounting part 1. These jaws 11, 12 have the same cross section, i.e. they form a contact surface 10, which is shaped in the form of a circular arc in the cross-section, for the recess 7 on the respective visible profile 101,102. As a result, an extremely stable and steady connection is provided between the mounting part 1 and the visible profiles 101, 102. In addition, the retaining bars 3, 4 end at their jaws 11, 12, whereby the mounting part 1 - not least due to the large contact surface with the visible profiles due to the shape of the retaining bars 3,4- can attach even thinly formed visible sections 101, 102 securely on a substructure 103.
The base plate 2 of the mounting part 1 further has a material thinning 14, via which the second retaining bar 4 adjoins the base plate 2. The material thinning 14 extends from one end of the base plate 2 along the second retaining bar 4 to the center of the base plate 2, to which the first retaining bar 3 adjoins. Due to the material thinning 14 an increased bending flexibility of the retaining bar 4 is achieved in a simple manner. As a result of the circular arc section 12 in cooperation with the material thinning 14, a particularly flexible retaining bar 4 can be created.
As can be seen in Figs. 2 and 3, the base plate 2 also has on its rear side 16 a groove 15, which forms a predetermined breaking point 17 in the base plate 2.
Along the predetermined breaking point 17, the mounting part 1 can be separated accordingly. The separated individual item may be used, for example, as a spacer element for establishing the distance between the two adjacent visible profiles 101, 102. Advantageously, thus the mounting part 1 can also be shortened if it is used at the beginning or end of the terrace system 100.
As can also be seen in Fig. 3, the base plate 2 in the longitudinal direction 23 of the mounting part 1 adjoins the first retaining bar 3 on both sides. At the second retaining bar 4, however, the base plate 2 adjoins only on one side. This is particularly advantageous because there is a greater need for freedom of movement for the second retaining bar 4 on the side of the second retaining bar 4 facing the visible profile 102, due to its flexibility.
The two retaining bars 3, 4 also extend away from the base plate 2 from each other. The retaining bars 3, 4 thus include a pretensioning angle 18. The first retaining bar 3 protrudes perpendicularly from the base plate 2, i.e. at right angles. The second retaining bar 4 is therefore inclined relative to the first retaining bar 3 by the pretensioning angle 18. As a result, the second retaining bar 4 can act under elastic pretension on the second visible profile 102 to be retained.
As shown in Fig. 1, the fastening opening 5 is in particular introduced into the base plate 2 such that it extends obliquely in the direction of the second retaining bar 4. The fastening means 6 introduced into the mounting opening 5 can therefore be introduced at an angle 20 to the vertical into the substructure 6, resulting in a driving force of the mounting part 1 during attachment. As a result of this driving force, the second retaining bar 4 is automatically pretensioned to provide the optimum range of motion for expansion or contraction of the visible profiles 101, 102. This elastic pretension can be recognized between the position of the visible profile 102 and the rest position of the retaining bar 4 as pretensioning path 21.
In order to limit this pretensioning path 21 of the second retaining bar 4, the first retaining bar 3 has a mounting stop 22 for the movably mounted visible profile 102. During the propulsion of the mounting part 1 by the fastening means 6, the retaining bar 4 is therefore pretensioned only so far until the visible profile abuts the mounting stop 22. This can ensure that the retaining bar 4 is always pretensioned to the correct extent, whereby stability and flexibility of the mounting part 1 are further increased.
