Abstract
Certain plants are forced in so-called plant tubes 10, which project from an ordinary plastic plant pot, so that the plant, for example, can develop a pendant growth up over the plant pot. In horticulture plant tubes made with bottom root outlet openings and with a tapering bottom end are used, which make it easy to push the tube down to a bottom position in a substrate-filled plant pot. There is, however, a need for an aid to accurately centre sinking of the tube in the pot, and in preference to external means, use is made, according to the invention, of special plant pots 2, which at the bottom are formed with a raised bowl part 6, in which there is a conical depression 8 for guided receiving and fastening of the pointed end 12 of the plant tube 10. Ease of centring of a tube inserted with tolerable accuracy and subsequent stabilisation of the tube are thereby achieved. <IMAGE>
