Abstract

Phenoxy propionic acid derivs. of formula (I) are new (where R is OH, Cl, alkoxy, haloalkoxy, alkoxy-alkoxy, alkenoxy, alkinoxy, aralkoxy, alkylthio or alkylthioalkoxy; X is H or halogen). Diphenylether derivs. of formula (II) are also new (where X1 is H, F or Br). (I) are herbicides and can also be used as defoliants, desiccants. (I) can be used as selective herbicides in dicotyledon crops, and in cereals, and rice.
