Claims (15)

  1. ÆNDRING AF PLANTERS FLAVONOIDMETABOLISME PATENTKRAV
    1. I alt væsentligt oprenset eller isoleret nukleinsyre eller nukleinsyrefragment, hvilken nukleinsyre eller hvilket nukleinsyrefragment koder for et MYB-protein, eller er komplementære eller antisense til en sekvens, der koder for et MYB-protein, og indbefatter en nukleotidsekvens udvalgt fra gruppen bestående af: (a) sekvenser vist i Figur 41,43 og 45 hertil (SEQ ID NO: 60, 62, 63 og 64); (b) komplementer af sekvenserne nævnt i (a); (c) funktionelt aktive fragmenter af sekvenserne nævnt i (a) og (b) med en størrelse på mindst 60 nukleotider; og (d) funktionelt aktive varianter med mindst ca. 95 % identitet med sekvenserne nævnt i (a), (b) og (c).
  2. 2. Nukleinsyre eller nukleinsyrefragment ifølge krav 1, hvor nukleinsyren eller nukleinsyrefragmentet er udvalgt fra gruppen bestående af: (a) sekvenser vist i Figur 41,43 og 45 hertil (SEQ ID NO: 60, 62, 63 og 64); og (b) funktionelt aktive varianter med mindst ca. 95 % identitet med sekvenserne nævnt i (a).
  3. 3. Nukleinsyre eller nukleinsyrefragment ifølge krav 1, hvor nukleinsyren eller nukleinsyrefragmentet indbefatter en nukleotidsekvens udvalgt fra gruppen bestående af sekvenser vist i Figur 41,43 og 45 hertil (SEQ ID NO: 60, 62, 63 og 64).
  4. 4. Konstrukt indbefattende en nukleinsyre eller et nukleinsyrefragment ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 1-3.
  5. 5. Vektor indbefattende en nukleinsyre eller et nukleinsyrefragment ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 1-3.
  6. 6. Vektor ifølge krav 5, hvilken vektor endvidere indbefatter en promoter og en terminator, hvilken promoter, nukleinsyre eller hvilket nukleinsyrefragment og hvilken terminator er operativt forbundet.
  7. 7. Plantecelle, plante, plantefrø eller anden plantedel indbefattende et konstrukt ifølge krav 4 eller en vektor ifølge krav 5 eller 6.
  8. 8. Plante, plantefrø eller anden plantedel, der er afledt af en plantecelle eller en plante ifølge krav 7 og indbefatter et konstrukt ifølge krav 4 eller en vektor ifølge krav 5 eller 6.
  9. 9. Fremgangsmåde til ændring af (a) flavonoiders biosyntese i en plante; (b) proteinbinding, metalchelatering, anti-oxidation og/eller UV-lysabsorption i en plante; (c) pigmentproduktion i en plante; (d) en plantes forsvar mod en biotisk stress; eller (e) en plantes foderkvalitet ved at bryde proteinskum og/eller bibringe beskyttelse mod græsningsbetinget trommesyge; hvilken fremgangsmåde indbefatter introduktion i planten af en effektiv mængde nukleinsyre eller nukleinsyrefragment ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 1-3, et konstrukt ifølge krav 4 og/eller en vektor ifølge krav 5 eller 6.
  10. 10. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 9, hvor fremgangsmåden ændrer en plantes forsvar mod en biotisk stress, og den biotiske stress er udvalgt fra gruppen bestående af vira, mikroorganismer, insekter og svampepatogener.
  11. 11. Anvendelse af en nukleinsyre eller et nukleinsyrefragment ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 1-3, og/eller nukleotidsekvensinformationer deraf, og/eller enkeltstående nukleotidpolymorfismer deraf som en molekylær genetisk markør.
  12. 12. I alt væsentligt oprenset eller isoleret MYB-polypeptid, hvor polypeptidet indbefatter en aminosyresekvens udvalgt fra gruppen bestående af: (a) sekvenser vist i Figur 42 og 46 hertil (henholdsvis SEQ ID NO: 61 og 65); (b) funktionelt aktive fragmenter af sekvenserne nævnt i (a) med en størrelse på mindst 50 aminosyrer; og (c) funktionelt aktive varianter med mindst ca. 98 % identitet med sekvenserne nævnt i (a) og (b).
  13. 13. Polypeptid ifølge krav 12, hvor polypeptidet indbefatter en aminosyresekvens udvalgt fra gruppen bestående af: (a) sekvenser vist i Figur 42 og 46 hertil (henholdsvis SEQ ID NO: 61 og 65); og (b) funktionelt aktive varianter med mindst ca. 98 % identitet med sekvenserne nævnt i (a).
  14. 14. Polypeptid ifølge krav 12, hvor polypeptidet indbefatter en aminosyresekvens udvalgt fra gruppen bestående af sekvenser vist i Figur 42 og 46 hertil (henholdsvis SEC ID NO: 61 og 65).
  15. 15. I alt væsentligt oprenset eller isoleret polypeptid kodet af en nukleinsyre eller et nukleinsyrefragment ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 1-3.
