Abstract

A ventilation device (1) for mounting in a roofing underlay (15), said ventilation device (1) comprising a first member (2) and a second member (3), said first member (2) comprising - first connection means (7), and - a first contact surface (14) configured for abutting a first surface (9) of said roofing underlay (15) around a cut-out (6) of said roofing underlay (15) when said ventilation device (1) is mounted in said roofing underlay (15), said second member (3) comprising - second connection means (8) for engaging with said first connection means (7), and - a second contact surface (12) configured for abutting a second surface (10) of said roofing underlay (15) around said cut-out (6) of said roofing underlay (15) when said ventilation device (1) is mounted in said roofing underlay (15), wherein said ventilation device (1) comprises adjustment means (11), said adjustment means (11) being adapted for adjusting and maintaining a distance (dl) between said first contact surface (14) and said second contact surface (12) within a fixation range (13). The invention furthermore relates to a method of assembling said ventilation device (1), to the use ofa ventilation device (1) in a roofing underlay (15).
