Abstract

By a method for the manufacture of concrete reinforced rod mesh (3), comsisting of longitudinally extending steel supporting irons (2) and transversely extending reinforcing irons (4) being fastened to the steel supporting irons (2), said fastening is carried out by pressing a U-shaped cramp (5), wherein the body part of the U is rectilinear, with the leg ends through the steel supporting band (2) and tightly around the reinforcing iron (4), for achieving a far more rigid and strong connection between steel supporting bands (2) and reinforcing irons (4) than by known methods, and for achieving a more rigid rod mesh roll by rolled-up rod mesh (3) and the advantages resulting therefrom, namely that the rod mesh roll is less inclined to bend across its longitudinal axis during transport and positioning.
