Abstract

A synthetic pour point depressant is added at defined temperature below the inversion temperature to improve the flow properties of wax-containing crude oil or natural gas liquid. - The synthetic pour point depressant is added at a higher temperature than 20 deg.C below the inversion temperature of the crude oil or natural gas liquid.

Description

Patentkrav 1. Claim 1. A process for improving the flow properties of a waxy crude oil or gas condensate exclusive Bahrain resin containing asphaltenes and other wax crude oils or gas condensers which do not exhibit identical upper and lower flow points (ASTM D97 / D5853) containing the addition of a synthetic peg adding the synthetic floating point submersible to the crude oil or gas condensate at a temperature not exceeding 20 ° C below the inversion point of the crude oil or gas condensate, as determined by a method comprising heating the samples of the crude oil or gas condensate to varying temperatures, which determines the sample floating point after cooling; depicting the floating points determined as a function of the heating temperatures at which the floating point has been reduced to its minimum value, which temperature is defined as the inversion point. Process according to Claim 1, characterized in that the synthetic floating point submersible is added to the crude oil or gas condensate at a temperature higher than 10 ° C below the inversion point, preferably at a temperature at or above the inversion point. Method according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the synthetic floating point submersible comprises a substance of formula I: wherein m = 20-300, preferably m = 25-100, and especially m = 50-80, n = 5-50 , preferably n = 5-25, and especially n = 8-15, and R symbolizes a hydrocarbon, preferably an aliphatic hydrocarbon, and especially an aliphatic hydrocarbon consisting of 2-20 carbon atoms. Process according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the synthetic floating point submersible is added in an amount of 5-2000 ppm, preferably 20-500, and especially 20-100 ppm. Method according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the synthetic floating point submersible is injected into the borehole.
