Tea or coffee bag holder of this kind is known from patent No. GB 2229991, which discloses a tea bag in an outer packaging. The outer packaging consists of two contiguous parts, one part being a container for storing the tea bag and the other part being a lid which serves as a support for the tea bag on the edge of a cup.
