Abstract

Container comprising a container body with an approximately flat base and four container walls which are at such an obtuse angle to the container base that the containers, when empty, can be stacked inside one another, which containers have members allowing them to be lifted from under the base by means of the forks of a forklift truck, and means allowing them to be lifted at the top part of the container walls. To ensure that, when they are filled and are lifted from under the base, the containers can be stacked so that each container is stable and can be arranged on the edge of a second container, the containers comprise four support legs which are pivotable about an axle fixed to the base and which, in a first position, are placed inside the contour of the base and, in a second position, project forwards in relation to the container base and have a greater span than the top part of the container, the support legs having movement members designed to move the support legs from the first position to the second position upon insertion of the forks of the forklift truck into the lifting members placed under the base of the container. <IMAGE>
