Abstract

Emulsion polymerization comprises mixing a lignosulfonate-containing monomer emulsion and an initiator solution in a lignosulfonate solution. <??>An Independent claim is also included for a dispersion obtainable as above, with a lignosulfonate content of 0.2-5 wt.% (dry basis) and a viscosity of 0.1-5 Pa.s at a polymer solids content of 50-75 wt.%.
