Abstract

A process for producing a surface element for a wall, floor, or ceiling, comprises producing a number of sandwich plates. An insulating plate (3) is located between lower and upper cover plates (1,2), and the individual sandwich plate are joined over their side edges. The sandwich structure is then cut to form the individual surface elements.
