Abstract

The pump has an installation opening(10) for a seal housing(11) in the cover for the pump casing, and for each seal(12a) from a group of predetermined seals a seal housing is fitted in the installation opening and with the cover provides static sealing. At least one of the predetermined seals is supplied with sealing medium and the cover and seal housing have aligning holes for feed thereof. The opposite lying circumferential faces of the installation opening and seal housing are constructed as seat engaging surfaces.
