Abstract

A tray and a blank (10) for forming a tray for holding foodstuff or the like which tray is formed from paperboard or similar foldable sheet material, the tray including the base (14) wherein the base (14) has a doubled skinned zone (82) providing a void (66) wherein means are provided to give fluid communication between the internal surface of the base (14) and said void (66) so that fluid present in the tray can drain into the void (66).
