Abstract
The indoor connection box (1) encloses the main fuses (8) in one compartment (2) and overvoltage diverters (14) in series with subsidiary fuses or circuit-breakers (13) in another compartment (4). The power is taken from an entry point (7) on a wall (6). Connections are taken from the output sides (10) of the main fuses for branch lines (12) into the diverter compartment where the diverters are connected together by a potential equalisation line (15,16) leading out to a conventional earthing busbar.
