Abstract

Belt is driven on a roller table with frame supports on either side, at least one of which has a support surface (5) extending in the longitudinal direction on which a strip (6) of permanently elastic material is fastened. Above the elastic material is a wear-resistant sliding layer (7) on which the belt (3) is guided and is pressed against the rollers by the force produced during deformation of the strip. Pref. the strip consists of a permanently elastic foam material and the sliding layer is of a plastic partic. HDPE.
