Abstract

Process for the preparation of filler pigments with an inorganic base, in which a compact mineral and a lamellar mineral and/or a plastic pigment are ground together, in aqueous medium, in the presence of at least one grinding aid. The cogrinding is advantageously performed in the presence of a colloidal protecting agent. Preparations of filler pigments obtained by this process and their uses, in particular in the papermaking industry.
