Abstract

The method and the circuit arrangement are suitable for the reduction of interfering harmonic currents which are caused, for example, by rectifier units (GE) and are emitted to the electrical power supply network. In this case, two three-phase transformers (ET1, ET2) each emit two voltages (u1v1w1, x1y1z1 and u2v2w2, x2y2z2 respectively) which are shifted through the phase angle a or b respectively, in such a manner that the interfering harmonic currents at the input of the transformers (ET1, ET2) cancel one another out, or at least greatly reduce one another. <IMAGE>
