Abstract

The composition according to the invention comprises an oxidising agent, a fuel, a binder and optional fillers and adjuvants. As fuel, it employs an iron phosphide in a proportion ranging from 3 to 60 % by weight. The invention makes it possible in particular to do away with the odour of sulphur dioxide released by conventional matches at the time of burning.
