Superconductor ceramic piece for carrying current from a very-low temperature zone (4.2 K) to an intermediate-temperature zone (77 K), comprising a tube of sintered ceramic of the YBaCuO family, characterised in that - the said tube (3) has a length greater than 50 mm, an external diameter between 10 and 30 mm, a thickness between 1 and 4 mm, and in that it has on its external or internal lateral face, between its two ends, at least one channel (10) in which the said ceramic is textured to a depth between 30 mu m and 500 mu m, and a width between 0.1 mm and 10 mm. <IMAGE>
