Abstract
The invention relates to a heat exchanger for pipelines or hose lines conducting waste water, having a helix for leading through service water and connections for connecting the heat exchanger to the pipelines. The invention is intended to provide a heat exchanger which is particularly economical to produce, can be universally employed, and is not difficult to install. According to the invention, the heat exchanger is characterised in that the individual turns of a helix (1) bear tightly against one another and are firmly connected to one another, in that connecting pieces (3) are mounted on the two end faces of the helix, and in that the helix (1) provided with the connecting piece (3) forms a pipe fitting piece (4). <IMAGE>
