It comprises a means of security against counterfeiting by reproduction with a photocopier or a scanner, and/or as means of identification, at least one iridescent coating arranged at least partially at the surface of the sheet, the said coating having a good resistance to circulation and being obtained by starting with a composition consisting of at least one binder and at least one iridescent substance. It can be printed on without transfer of the iridescent coating. Application to papers for banknotes.
