Abstract

Each of the devices (1, 2) can be so driven as to move a processed document (13, 23) with respect to a processing head (11, 21). At least one (2) of the devices can be run with no document, and a single motor is provided to drive both devices. If only one device (2) is able to run with no document, the power is transmitted either to this device (2) only or simultaneously to both devices (1, 2). The invention applies in particular to telefacsimile machines for the analysis of outgoing documents and the printing of incoming documents. <IMAGE>
