Abstract

The fluidised bed bioreactor has a conditioning device in the reactor chamber (2). This device consists of fittings (3) which are arranged in the form of static mixers and which have an inner chamber (4), which is separated from the reactor chamber (2) by a wall (6), for a conditioning agent, where the inner chamber is connected to an external conditioning system (7). This achieves simultaneously a homogeneous stable fluidised bed with low expansion and high volumetric productivity, and achieves homogeneous conditioning, which is optimal in terms of matter and of heat, in the entire reaction chamber. <IMAGE>
