DEUTSCHES PATENTAMTGERMAN PATENT OFFICE
The invention relates to a device for cleaning small solid particles and / or colloids containing solutions of oils or fats obtained from seeds or nuts with the aid of coagulating agents. The cleaning process using coagulants is on known. By introducing the same into the solution of the oils or obtained by extraction In fats, solid particles and / or colloids are precipitated. The one achieved so far with this process However, the degree of purity is not sufficient because it is not enough just the miscella and bringing the coagulating agent together. Therefore, a more extensive cleaning of the Solution only achieved in that the pre-cleaned solution is then passed through a filter press is passed through to remove even the last residue.
Im allgemeinen gelangen aber Kolloide teilweise noch durch die Filter hindurch, so daß sie sich beiIn general, however, some of the colloids still pass through the filter, so that they are at

The device according to the invention is characterized in particular by the fact that it allows continuous operation in that uncleaned miscella can be fed in and cleaned automatically, while the coagulating agent can be sucked off and added again until it is exhausted. After it has been created, it can be sucked off and replaced without the previous rejtnigungsvorgatig experiencing an interruption. '' Ij ; ■ 'J, - "..'
DieThe use of one or more filters is superfluous in the device according to the invention, so that their difficulties also cease to exist. Difficulties arise namely with the Filter by the fact that these, for example filter cloths, have to be cleaned frequently and in the the rest of the colloids in the solution generally still partially pass through. the
Dabei verbleibt sogar ein Teil der Kolloide in der Miscella, so daß das Öl".Notwendige frequent cleaning of the filter performs each for shutting down the purification plant, while the contamination of the heating elements must be taken by the colloids as imaüsbleibHches evil in buying ge'- 1 .30. Some of the colloids even remain in the miscella, so that the oil
Here the device according to the invention creates an effective remedy, since it once a ' allows continuous operation and on the other hand a much greater degree of purification the miscella enables it to increase at will so that practically all colloids can be removed.
In the device according to the invention, several successive sewage chambers are provided, each of which with the next one through; an overflow pipe is connected and each of which is connected via a valve on the drainage pipe ah a pump is connected, which sucks the coagulating agent from the individual chambers and again the feeds first chamber.
The use of cascading chambers for settling and classifying more firmly Substances from liquids is known per se, but have such clarifying chambers for cleaning Miscelles of oils or fats obtained from nuts or seeds, as yet, have not found any use.

A represents a completely closed container, which is divided into a number of one on top of the other. is divided into the following chambers B, C, D and £. In the device of Fig. 1, the lower part of the chamber B is covered with alum solution, which has been chosen as an example and is a coagulating agent which is heavier than the miscella. It is set in circulation by the pump F and fed to the chamber B at its upper side with a considerable pressure via a throttle and a funnel /. Fresh miscella flows in a fine stream from the Rohrii, and. '.. Alum solution or the like as a coagulating agent is fed in via the funnel Q. The funnel / feeds the miscella and the coagulating solution below the overflow K to the chamber β. The miscella tends to rise up in this chamber B , while the coagulating solution tends to sink to the bottom from which it is recirculated by the pump F. The incoming miscella rises and finally finds its way. Via the overflow K through the pipe L into the clarification chamber C, in which the retained solution is again deposited. The subsequent clarification chambers D, E. . . are each through the overflow pipes L 1 , L 2 . . . Which in the successive chambers D, E. . . lead and open into this in the area of the settling miscella 1 , connected to one another. The overflow pipe of each subsequent chamber is arranged a little 1 lower than the overflow pipe of the previous one. After flowing through the clarification chambers can be closed. The cleaned miscella can be continuously withdrawn from the tube M.
