Gegenstand der Erfindung bildet ein Gasventil, welches auf elektrischem Wege gesteuert wird, um dadurch aus der Entfernung nach Belieben geöffnet und geschlossen zu werden, je nachdem man durch eine Drahtspule einen Strom von der einen oder der anderen Richtung hindurchsendet. Das Ventil ist insbesondere dazu bestimmt, um für Gasfernzünder verwendet zu werden, derart, dafs beim Oeffnen des Ventils durch das hindurchgelassene Gas die Zündung bewerkstelligt wird, und dafs beim Schliefsen des Ventils die dadurch unterbrochene Gaszuführung ein Erlöschen der Flamme bewirkt.The invention relates to a gas valve which is controlled electrically so that it can be opened and closed at will from a distance, depending on whether a coil of wire sends a current from one direction or the other sends through.
